Position Title: Customer Service and Sales Officer
Minimum Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or equivalent professional experience
Desirable Qualifications:
- Certification in Customer Service
- Sales-related training or qualification
- Experience in Marketing and Communications
- Proficiency with CRM software is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Delivery:
- Ensure consistent and positive customer experiences aligning with our Global Customer Service Strategy and corporate standards
- Handle initial inquiries via various channels (in-person, email, social media, chat, telephone) professionally and courteously
- Provide accurate information to customers, managing expectations for a seamless customer journey
- Maintain reception and registration duties in line with corporate standards, reflecting the British Council brand
- Uphold organizational brand values and standards through dress and communication
Sales:
- Establish rapport with potential customers, understanding their needs to tailor responses effectively
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned opportunities, guiding customers from inquiry to sale
- Monitor and improve conversion rates, meeting daily and monthly targets
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
- Follow up with customers to gather feedback and insights for future marketing and service enhancements
Support to Exams:
- Assist in delivering examination services/products, ensuring adherence to quality standards and customer needs
- Collect and report examination fees accurately and in compliance with financial and audit procedures
- Collaborate with Exams team members to ensure a seamless customer journey and timely resolution of issues
- Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned by management
