Abay Bank S.C. is currently seeking skilled and capable individuals for the following job opportunities. Established in accordance with all regulatory requirements set forth by the National Bank of Ethiopia, Abay Bank commenced its operations on July 14th, 2010, and began full-fledged banking activities on November 3, 2010.

Position 1: Junior MIS Officer

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields, supplemented with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in report development, database management systems (DBMS), SQL, and reporting tools is desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are advantageous.

Position 2: IT Auditor

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent fields, along with at least 3 years of pertinent experience.

Position 3: Senior Research and Product Development Officer

Requirements: Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing, Management, Economics, or similar disciplines, coupled with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in market research, product development, and market analysis. Prior experience in the banking sector is preferred.

Location: Head Office

Position 4: Attorney

Requirements: LLB degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

Location: Hawassa District Office

Position 5: Branch Manager Grade -I

Requirements: Bachelor of Arts degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or related fields, with at least 6 years of experience in banking operations, including 2 years in a supervisory capacity.

Locations: Assosa Branch, Gambela Branch
