BLESS Agri-Food Laboratory Services PLC, established in 2011 through a joint venture of Ethiopian and French investors, is an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited laboratory. It serves as a key conformity assessment body in the country, specializing in testing, product certification, inspection, and training services for agri-food items.
Position: Junior Inspector
Education: Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology, Plant Science, Food Science, or related fields.
Experience: 0 years (Experience in a similar position is advantageous).
Under the direct supervision of the Department Manager, and in adherence to company policies, procedures, and accreditations, as well as national and international conformity assessment standards, the Junior Inspector conducts non-complex sampling, inspection, impurity determination, and grading activities. They are responsible for developing and executing inspection schedules, ensuring compliance with relevant national and international standards, particularly ISO/IEC 17020. Additionally, they participate in training, consulting, and research and development activities, actively engaging in provided training and coaching programs.
