Position 1: Junior Warehouse Management Officer (Junior Storekeeper)

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields Experience: Minimum of one year of relevant experience, preferably in the banking industry

Job Purpose: Responsible for receiving, storing, and managing procured goods, ensuring smooth operations within the bank by maintaining accurate stock records.

Generic Functions:

  • Provide assistance in various activities of the work unit.
  • Maintain essential files/records and make them available when needed.
  • Embrace teamwork, collaboration, and transparent work practices.
  • Adhere to the internal control system and risk management program of the bank.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Specific Functions:

  • Receive, verify, and store purchased goods accurately.
  • Update stock records upon receiving and issuing items.
  • Participate in the distribution of stock items according to the plan.
  • Reconcile physical items with bin card and stock card records.
  • Maintain necessary records and documents for efficient store operation. Location: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Warehouse Management Officer (Storekeeper)

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields Experience: Minimum of three years of relevant banking experience, including at least one year in an officer position

Job Purpose: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, managing stock levels, and delivering goods.

Generic Functions:

  • Mentor and empower subordinates to enhance their performance.
  • Participate in policy and procedure development, budget planning, and performance reporting.
  • Provide services as per the service level agreement.
  • Contribute to the bank’s profitability targets.
  • Engage in collaborative and transparent teamwork practices.

Specific Functions:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of guidelines and procedures for store management.
  • Plan warehouse layout, shelving, and ensure proper housekeeping and goods protection.
  • Perform regular reconciliation of property account records.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse records.
  • Handle other related duties as necessary. Location: Addis Ababa
