Position 1: Internal Auditor

Job Requirements:

Minimum qualification and work experience:

Undergraduate degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or a related field in business.

Four years of banking experience in an audit-related capacity.

Position 2: Senior IT Auditor

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of internal IT controls, assessing risk exposure, and formulating remediation strategies.

Conduct information control reviews encompassing Database systems, Networks, Infrastructures, Core banking applications, Operating systems, Data centers & Disaster Recovery, backups, system security, and other applications.

Perform regular audit testing, including ethical hacking, observation, assessments, etc.

Conduct interviews, surveys, document reviews, and prepare working papers.

Monitor information security implementation at agreed frequencies.

Recommend technical solutions to manage identified risks.

Participate in projects related to the implementation of new technologies and applications.

Recognize, formulate, and record audit concerns along with suggested enhancements.

Audit and evaluate new automated information technology devices.

Fulfill all other duties, responsibilities, and roles of an information technology auditor assigned.

Job Requirements:

Minimum qualification and work experience:

Earn a degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field in Information Technology.

Three years of work experience for MSC Degree holders and five years for BSC Degree holders, with two years specifically in IT and System Audit.

Core Competencies:

Extensive knowledge and application of internal auditing and ICT principles and practices, as well as management principles and preferred business practices.

Familiarity with information systems audit or investigation.

Considerable knowledge of internal audit standards, IT audit practices, and the code of ethics.

Understanding of international best practices in IS security and IS auditing.

Knowledge of contemporary risk management and control techniques and familiarity with contemporary control frameworks.

Ability to promote ICT audit activities within the bank.

Experience in IT auditing techniques, disaster recovery planning and testing, IT risk analysis, business resumption, and contingency planning.

Workplace: Addis Ababa
