Position: Marketing Intern


  • Possession of a university degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s studies)
  • Preferred fields of study include Business, Management, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Teams)
  • Fluency in Native Amharic and English
  • Proficient computer skills

What You Will Gain from Your Role: You will acquire in-depth knowledge of our portfolio and products, understanding campaign preparation processes, with opportunities to lead projects and assume full accountability. Collaboration with various teams within Unilever and external partners will be encouraged.

Skills to be Enhanced: Project management, Collaboration, Coordination, and Ad hoc problem-solving.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assisting brand managers in daily marketing activities
  • Implementing promotional campaigns
  • Maintaining regular communication with agencies
  • Co-developing creative content with agencies
  • Coordinating brand-related events
  • Supporting new product launches
  • Analyzing brand performance and market data
  • Monitoring competitors
  • Overseeing brand webpages
  • Preparing brand presentations

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Generating purchase orders
  • Assisting in budget management
  • Undertaking miscellaneous tasks such as organizing meetings and managing agency contracts
