Position 1: Technical Coordinator

Requirements for Qualification and Experience

We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the role of Technical Coordinator at Plan International. The ideal candidate should possess:

A Master’s or First degree in Social Science, Business Management, Economics, Development Studies, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant field experience in project management, Marker Systems (M4P), labor market, with a preference for a solid understanding of Industrial parks and their partnership contexts.

Managerial experience is essential for this role, as the position involves primarily managerial responsibilities.

Previous experience working with local governments and stakeholders in project implementation, including hands-on partnership management skills.

Technical expertise and knowledge in Gender/Women empowerment, Livelihoods promotion, VSLA, Enterprise Development, Youth Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment, Youth Innovative Program, and decent work.

Good understanding of Monitoring, Evaluation Accountability and Learning.

Demonstrated ability to lead a large team of national staff at various levels.

Strong skills in documentation and information management.

Excellent negotiation, influencing, and problem-solving skills.

Numeracy and the ability to interpret financial data for budgetary processes, including planning, monitoring, and reporting.

Capability to thrive in high-pressure situations, effectively manage task prioritization, and consistently meet deadlines.

Proficiency in computer skills and the use of relevant software and applications.

Position 2: Program Manager

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Law, Political Science, Public Health, or related fields.

A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role with NGOs, leading programs/projects or equivalent experience. The candidate should have expertise in managing emergency response and recovery projects, particularly in Child Protection, Gender Equality, Health/Nutrition, WaSH, Education, Food Security & Livelihoods, and other related areas.

In-depth knowledge of Plan’s global and national strategies and policies, with effective communication and authoritative expertise in the field. The ability to establish productive working relationships across a network.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

Knowledge:

Understanding of project management concepts and tools.

Profound knowledge of project cycle management and child-centered community development programming approaches.

Familiarity with collaboration and networking issues.

Awareness of development issues, trends, challenges, opportunities, and their implications for community development.

Understanding the principles and procedures outlined in the Child Protection Policy (CPP).

Understanding of effective participatory Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research systems and processes.

Skills Specific to the Post:

Qualification and Experience:

BA Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Business Management & related fields with five years of practical experience in a similar position in a comparable organization.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to influence others through effective relationship building and a current understanding of relevant policies and frameworks.

Thorough understanding of project processes, procedures, and systems.

Capability to articulate technical concepts in a clear manner for a non-technical audience.

Knowledge Required:

Basic knowledge of the Finance role.

High-level communication skills, both written and oral.

Excellent knowledge of computer applications such as Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
