Position 1: Program Officer
Requirements:
- Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating the advancement of community-based organizations (CBOs)/civil society organizations (CSOs), governmental bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and execution of Pact initiatives. Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Position 2: Grants Officer
Requirements:
- Master’s degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent blend of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of pertinent work involvement in grants and/or contract management within the local context. Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/MA in a related business field (Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics).
- Proficiency in USG and other donor regulations governing contract and grants administration.
- Aptitude in conducting financial assessments and quantitative analyses.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills vital for fostering relationships with donors and partner entities.
- Ability to exercise prudent business judgment to effectively prioritize and execute multiple complex tasks.
- Highly organized with the capacity to devise and refine systems for efficient day-to-day operations.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management.
- Fluency in written and spoken English. Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Position 3: Driver/Field Support
Requirements:
- High School diploma with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent blend of education and experience. Additional Qualifications:
- Proficiency in local languages and basic spoken English.
- Reliability, trustworthiness, and responsibility.
- Sharp observation skills and attentiveness.
- Good hearing and vision.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform under pressure. Unique/Specialized Job Requirements:
- Maintain a comprehensive logbook of all changes and incidents.
- Oversee payment for office utilities (electricity, water, telephone bills, etc.).
- Handle mail collection and delivery to government offices and other stakeholders.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
