Hope Enterprises, a local Civil Society Organization established in 1971, is a pioneering nationwide NGO dedicated to serving the needy through transformational funding across seven branches and various projects in different areas, including a college school in Addis Ababa City Administration. Hope Enterprises is committed to holistic human development through concrete interventions such as primary care, training, vocational coaching, job and enterprise mediation, and values growth. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
Position 1: Business Development Officer
Requirements:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or relevant social sciences.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in business management and NGO program management, or 8 years of experience after Bachelor’s degree.
- Specialized training in proposal writing, consultancy, Microsoft Office, administration, strategic planning, and leadership.
Position 2: IT Specialist
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/MA in Computer Science, Information Technology, software engineering, or related field.
- 5 years (Bachelor’s) or 3 years (Master’s) of experience in IT, software development, or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting skills.
- Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills.
Position 3: Assistant Executive Director
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Social Work, Sociology, Economics, Development Studies, or related fields.
- Minimum of 11 years of experience in national/international NGOs, with 2 years in a supervisory or management position.
Position 4: Finance Manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 11 years of relevant experience for Bachelor’s degree, 7 years for Master’s degree.
- Experience in managing/coordinating the finance department of an NGO preferred.
Position 5: Capacity Building Officer
Requirements:
- BA/BSc or MSc/MA in Project Management, Human Resources, Development Studies, Sociology, or related fields.
- 6 years (BA/BSc) or 4 years (MSc/MA) of experience in capacity-building initiatives.
Position 6: MIS Specialist
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, BAIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5 years of experience for Bachelor’s degree, 3 years for Master’s degree.
Position 7: Project Officer
Requirements:
- BA/BSc or MSc/MA in Project Management, Vocational Management, Development Studies, Sociology, or related fields.
- Proven working experience in project management or similar position.
Position 8: Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Officer
Requirements:
- BA/BSc or MSc/MA in Economics, Statistics, Project Management, Development Studies, Sociology, or related fields.
- 6 years (BA/BSc) or 4 years (MSc/MA) of experience in planning, monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
