Position 1: Junior Physiotherapist
Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Senior Physiotherapist, the Junior Physiotherapist administers bodily remedy therapy to patients.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Administers various therapeutic modalities, including manual massage, heat, light, sound, water, and electrical therapies for admitted children and outpatients.
Performs traction to alleviate neck and back pain using intermittent and static treatment equipment.
Instructs, motivates, and assists patients in learning and improving functional activities, such as daily living tasks.
Fits, adjusts, and trains patients in the use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices like crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, etc.
Collaborates with the physiotherapy unit manager and others to exchange, discuss, and review patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs.
Provides orientation to new assistant physiotherapists and gives instructions.
Performs clerical duties, including inventory management and supply ordering.
Maintains records of both admitted and outpatient cases.
Participates in CE outreach programs.
Performs any other related duties assigned by the Physiotherapy unit Supervisor.

Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Program Officer, the Physiotherapy & Clinic Unit Leader plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates the overall physiotherapy capabilities at the Center.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Tests and measures patients, recording findings to develop or revise treatment programs.
Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to determine appropriate treatment for patients.
Plans and prepares a written treatment program based on evaluations and discussions within the multidisciplinary team.
Conducts manual exercises aimed at enhancing and preserving functionality.
Orders prosthetic or orthotic devices for patients after thorough examinations.
Conducts pre-prosthetic treatments for patients.
Participates in the admission process for children aged 5 to 12 years for further treatment.
Instructs, motivates, and assists patients in performing various physical activities.
Administers massages by utilizing a thorough understanding of massage techniques and the physiology of the human body.
Records treatment, responses, and progress in patient charts for both outpatients and admitted cases.
Instructs patients and families on procedures to continue at home.
Evaluates, fits, and adjusts prosthetic and/or orthotic devices, recommending modifications.
Orders wheelchairs or other walking devices as deemed appropriate and trains patients on proper usage.
Orients, instructs, and directs the activities of assistants.
May write technical reports regarding the unit’s activities.
Performs any other related duties assigned by the Program Officer.
