Abay Bank S.C. is seeking capable and skilled individuals to join our team for the following positions. Established with full authorization from the National Bank of Ethiopia on July 14th, 2010, and commencing full banking operations on November 3, 2010, Abay Bank boasts a paid-up capital of Birr 4.733 Billion as of June 30, 2023, with a shareholder base of 4,437.

Our bank is dedicated to serving all sectors of the economy through our extensive branch network, catering to domestic and international trade, agriculture, industry, transportation, construction, and real estate.

Position 1: Driver I

  • Educational Level and Work Experience: Completion of 12th/10th grade and possession of a 3rd-grade driving license, with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Duty Station: Dire Dawa District

Position 2: Branch Manager Grade I

  • Educational Level and Work Experience: Minimum of a B.A. Degree in Management/Accounting/Economics/Business Management/Banking and Finance, with a minimum of 6 years of banking experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role in banking operations.
  • Responsibilities: The Branch Manager will plan, coach, and coordinate branch activities, motivate customer service officers, manage customer and business relationships, and recruit potential customers.
  • Duty Station: Batu Branch


  • Salary: As per the Bank’s Scale
