Sansheng Pharmaceutical plc (SSP) holds a GMP license from EFDA and is actively pursuing additional international certifications from WHO and other regulatory bodies worldwide. The company specializes in the production of tablets/capsules (with an annual capacity of 5 billion units), injection products in the form of ampules (with an annual capacity of 300 million ampules), and large volume infusions (with an annual capacity exceeding 10 million liters/bags), utilizing state-of-the-art fully automated and semi-automated technology. SSP is also embarking on expansion plans into various dosage forms on its extensive 16.7-hectare land.
To achieve our ambitious goal of establishing Ethiopia as a hub for high-quality pharmaceuticals in East Africa, we are seeking dynamic, enthusiastic, qualified, and experienced individuals for the following position.
Position 1: QC Microbiology Analyst
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strictly adhere to inspection SOP, overseeing sampling, inspection, and reporting of microbiological analysis.
Maintain and utilize microbiological instruments and equipment, ensuring their normal use and upkeep.
Cultivate and inoculate bacteria required for microbial testing, and prepare bacteria solutions and mediums.
Provide accurate and reliable microbial detection results, taking full responsibility for them.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of original inspection records, reporting abnormal situations to superiors promptly.
Maintain cleanliness in the microbiological laboratory.
Prepare, calibrate, and review standard solutions (titrate) with accuracy verification.
Develop purchasing plans for required instruments, standard materials, test reagents, spare parts, and consumables in line with inspection requirements.
Daily operation and maintenance of the air conditioning system for microbial testing, maintaining relevant records.
Undertake other assigned tasks with accountability.

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, or closely related fields.
Requirements:

Position 2: QC Chemical Analyst
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assay raw materials and finished products according to required test indices and timelines, reporting results promptly.
Ensure correctness and precision of assaying programs, using approved department results as references to enhance professional skills.
Record test programs, archive assaying files and samples, and organize them systematically.
Be responsible for the security of the chemical laboratory and tests.
Safeguard drugs, instruments, equipment, and other assaying materials, especially toxic drugs and expensive equipment, in a designated cabinet controlled by authorized personnel.
Prepare, calibrate, and review standard solutions (titrate), ensuring calibration results are accurate and true.
Organize specific personnel for sample inspection and consistently conduct stability investigation and analysis.
Develop purchasing plans for required instruments, standard materials, test reagents, spare parts, and consumables in line with inspection requirements.
Complete other assigned tasks with responsibility.
