Position: Junior Program Analyst
Our Young Graduates Program offers a year-long apprenticeship designed to provide practical training and mentorship to recent graduates from various Ethiopian universities and colleges. Through tailored coaching and hands-on experience, participants accelerate their professional growth. This program serves as a vital pathway for young Ethiopian leaders to advance personally and professionally.
Each participant will focus on one of Kaizen Ethiopia’s Learning Project’s technical components, such as Data & Analytics Support, Evidence and MEL Training, Third Party Monitoring and Evaluation, Organization Transformation, Learning Innovation & Capacity Building, and Communications and Knowledge Management. Apprentices will also complete 2-3 online training courses or certification programs and submit a final report on their experiences.
Selected candidates will engage in program development, providing technical support in data analysis, report writing, communication, graphic design, and event coordination. Paired with experienced mentors and supervisors, apprentices will benefit from customized work plans and performance management, gaining diverse experiences through rotational assignments.

The Learning Project covers various technical sectors, including Health, Economic Growth & Resilience, Education & Youth, Democracy & Governance, Humanitarian Relief, Water, Sanitation, & Hygiene, Climate Change, and Organizational Transformation & Capacity Building.
Selection Process:
- Review of academic qualifications and experiences
- Written assessment
- Interviews and observations
- Offer of apprenticeship (upon successful completion)
Program: Young Graduates Program 2024 Position: Junior Program Analyst Contract Length: One year (with possibility of extension) Contract Type: Full-time apprenticeship
Eligibility and Qualifications:
- Recent graduates (1-2 years after graduation) or enrolled in an undergraduate program
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 or on the Dean’s list
- Proficient in English (written and oral)
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suites, PowerPoint, Adobe, etc.)
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Team player with a willingness to learn and accept challenges
- Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Extracurricular activities, internships, or volunteer experiences are a plus
