Position: Information Technology Coordinator
Calzedonia Group, originating from Verona, Italy, is a renowned company in the garment industry, specializing in the production and distribution of lingerie, easy wear, socks, and more. With a global presence spanning Europe, America, Asia, and the Middle East, the group established a production facility in Ashegoda Area, Tigray Mekelle, under the name “ITACA TEXTILE PLC” in 2015. We are currently seeking skilled professionals to fill the following role.
Job Summary:
The selected candidate will operate within the IT department of a multinational corporation. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining IT hardware, implementing and overseeing ERP (Navision) and MES (Inteos) systems, as well as providing daily support to end-users. Understanding the material and information flow within each department to optimize processes is essential.
Job Description:
Key responsibilities include:
Analyzing production processes
Comprehensive understanding of production and logistics workflows
Proficiency in operating systems, networking, hardware, and software
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to non-technical users
Assisting clients with system hardware and software installation, configuration, and ongoing usability
Providing daily operational and systems support to clients
Ensuring functionality of hardware and software components
Daily network backup operations will be carried out.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks, handle pressure, and meet deadlines effectively.
Candidates should be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

Basic Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in setting up and maintaining computer networks and systems.
At least 2 years of experience with current network operating systems.
Understanding of IT principles and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Basic knowledge of ERP and MES Systems.
Proficiency in Office applications, with experience in Power BI considered advantageous.
Knowledge of Networking Systems.
Proficiency in spoken and written English is a prerequisite.
Strong sense of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Experience in an international manufacturing environment is desirable.
Certifications:
Preferred certifications for IT technicians include:
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
