Position 1: Finance Assistant
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- 4 years of experience for Bachelor’s degree holders, or 2 years for MBA/ACCA/CPA holders Skills:
- Proven ability to support financial and non-financial managers and colleagues
- Strong understanding of Ethiopian laws regarding taxation, pension, labor, civil society, and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Analytical skills for interpreting financial reports and analyzing investment options
- Capacity to optimize, forecast, and plan cash resources
- Effective communication and reporting skills (both verbal and written) Location: Oromia
Position 2: Emergency Livelihood & Food Security Project Coordinator
Requirements:
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Plant Science, or Nutrition
- 2 years of relevant experience for Master’s degree holders, or 4 years for Bachelor’s degree holders in a related field Skills:
- Practical experience in coordinating food security projects
- Knowledge and experience in nutrition intervention and conducting training for field staff
- Experience working in complex emergency and insecure environments, particularly in refugee settings
- Proven track record in project management and budget tracking
- Preferably experienced in developing and implementing programs funded by DANIDA and/or BPRM Location: Afar Region
Position 3: Project Manager
Requirements:
- Master’s/First degree in a relevant discipline (Development Studies, DRR Management, Food Security, Agriculture, etc.) from a recognized university
- 6/8 years of practical experience for Master’s/Bachelor’s degree holders respectively, at both field and country office levels, specifically in designing triple nexus approaches (humanitarian, development, peacebuilding projects), proposal and report writing, capacity building, and implementation for key donors like EU, DANIDA, etc.
- Technical training qualifications in relief, disaster management, environmental sciences, natural resource management, climate science, peacebuilding, social cohesion, or related fields
- Mandatory experience working in disaster-affected areas in Ethiopia, preferably in South Omo or similar regions, with international NGOs and EU funding programs
- Experience in cross-border project management and portfolio management for different development/livelihood programs
- Understanding and practical experience of the triple nexus approach
- Knowledge of humanitarian standards and principles, as well as cross-cutting issues
- Management experience and familiarity with basic accounting methods and procedures Location: SNNP Region
