Position 1: Customer Services Officer -I


Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Insurance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

Experience Criteria:

A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a banking setting or two years in microfinance institutions.


Understanding of basic mechanisms of general financial products and services.

Proficient knowledge of the bank’s accounting and procedures.

Capability to address client inquiries, provide advice, and resolve issues effectively.

Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and a good grasp of the core banking system.

Educational Qualifications:

Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related discipline such as Accounting, Management, Economics, or Business Administration.

Professional Experience:

A minimum of 2 (Two) years of pertinent experience in a banking environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Accountable for providing customer service support in the front office of the branch.

Handles account maintenance, payment and collection transactions, and responds to customer inquiries.

Manages both cash and non-cash transactions and fulfills all customer requests at the branch.

Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field.


Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience at a bank, with at least one (1) year as a Customer Services Manager or in an equivalent role.

Job Description:

Plans, organizes, leads, and controls the banking activities of a branch office.

Ensures compliance with operating procedures, rules, and regulations of the bank and regulatory directives and country law.

Coordinates sales/business development efforts and leads customer service initiatives.

Prepares and submits annual budgets, work plans, and activity and progress reports.

Participates in community activities and maintains close ties with the business community to promote the bank’s services.
